Adrien
"Nice, mild-mannered, and very knowledgeable about this world, even though he's not a native. Adrien is a good person and I'd like to call him a friend. He puts up with my questions, and he was the first person I met in this world. I sort of wish I knew more about him, but I'm glad I know what I do know."

Kuja
"This guy sure knows how to make an impression. He doesn't seem too bad and usually apologizes for being bratty, but I get the feeling he's been through a lot. Knows a lot, too. He's... a bit unstable though. I'll have to try not to sound aggressive when I talk to him." "...I don't want to give out other people's secret memories. But I think that the world he came from had a whole lot of problems. And he was part of them and victim of them at the same time."

Beastboy
"He's a real character! I love how high his energy is, even if I can't always tell what he's talking about. He seems easygoing and empathetic, too. Looking forward to being his roommate; I should invite him to a game of something, I bet he'd enjoy it."

Azusa
"Oh, she's really nice! She struck me as calm, collected, and thoughtful. Very polite, too, and good with words. I hope I see her around again sometime!"

Chara
"They seem a little shy and out of their element, but I think they're going to get along alright. They've got a good head on their shoulders, and they're friendly. They seem scared of the natives, though... I'll try to be nice to them."

Papyrus
"Weird... It feels like I know him, but I can't remember ever meeting him. Did I see him in another world I've been to? Or... maybe mine? I just can't shake the feeling that I've spoken to this guy before. He knows Kuja though, and he makes pretty good spaghetti!"

Red Savarin
"He really reminds me of Popka! But, his eyes and wings and ears are wrong. Maybe the worlds we come from are similar to each other somehow?" "He seems really involved in the community of us other worlders, so that's nice. Oh, and he's a sports star apparently!"

Wander
"Nice photographer!"

Legault
"Oh boy.. I don't really know how to read this guy. I guess he works for the Curie Center or something, but it's weird I've never seen him around the hospital since I arrived. I don't think he's taking being called a hero too well, but at least he doesn't seem to be wanting to break anything?"

Orcelito
"Orcelito is definitely my puzzle-solving partner. He's obviously really intelligent, and he's helped me bounce ideas off of in the past. If I ever need to clear a room of puzzles or solve a riddle, I know exactly who I want to ask for help. I don't really know much about him, though."

Hugging this character: Go ahead!
Kissing this character: Sure, though he'll balk at on the lips.
Flirting with this character: Feel free, but he's already kinda into someone in his original canon, and is also a bit oblivious to this.

Fighting with this character: Sure, though he's very unlikely to initiate it.
Injuring this character: Nothing permanent, and please ask first? But sure.

Character
Name: Klonoa
Age: ~18. He has trouble remembering the exact number.
Gender: Male
Canon: Klonoa series and cameos
Canon Point: Somewhere between Klonoa 2 Dream Champ Tournament and Dream Traveller of Noctis Sol. This series' canon is loose, so most of what I'm taking is from the first two games with bits from other games and the comic.
History: Wiki
Klonoa is the dream traveler (Phantomiliona), fated to be unwittingly pulled to worlds in trouble through his dreams (often when a specific person calls for help), and then disappear from them when he's no longer needed, often having trouble remembering what he did.

His first adventure in Phantomile was painful; he was given false memories to believe he belonged there, and that Huepow, the one who called for him, was his closest friend. Although they saved the world, Klonoa's (false) grandfather died in his arms, Huepow's deception was revealed, and though Klonoa wanted to remain with Huepow regardless due to the friendship they'd built up on the journey, he was forcibly banished, as he was no longer needed in that reality. At this point in time, Klonoa was just a kid, and saw the adventure through mostly due to his anger, encouragement from others, and the necessity of saving everyone.

He was more prepared, but a little disillusioned, for his next adventure in Lunatea, helping a priestess initiate named Lolo and her friend Popka maintain the world by gathering the elemental forces of Tranquility, Discord, Joy, and Indecision. Though he was somewhat reluctant to help at first due to having been burned previously, it did not take long for his desire to help and love of adventure to get him in action. It turned out that a forgotten fifth element, Sorrow, had incarnated into an anthropomorphic personification out of grief when Lunatea rejected all sadness. The King of Sorrow had called Klonoa to that world to serve as his emotional punching bag, but Klonoa defeated him and promised to restore Sorrow to Lunatea. Klonoa had gotten a bit older since the last time he'd gone on a dream adventure, and his personality had become a bit more reserved in that time due to ruminating on what had happened to him. It never broke his spirit though; by the end, Klonoa had become more heroic in personality and had regained some of the vigor he'd lost as he started to settle into his role.

Klonoa's adventures continued in the Empire of Dreams and other new worlds, making many friends and turning enemies into friends along the way. Throughout more adventures after the second, he's gotten more used to his role as the Dream Traveler and better at remembering said dreams, sometimes even managing to drag old friends along with him into new worlds.

Personality: Klonoa is a heroic character, though in many respects he's surprisingly average for a fantastical cat-thing with truly ludicrous ears. Although his primary character traits have to be his kindheartedness and positive outlook, he's fully capable of expressing the whole spectrum of emotions; the murder his grandfather (or at least the person his false memories told him was his grandfather) and watching him die in his arms saw Klonoa in intense sorrow and even vengeful hatred towards the murderers. He's had more bittersweet, somber moments with the King of Sorrow and mandatory departure from Lunatea. He's also experienced nervousness in his inability to swim, and full-blown panic during the horrible revelations at the end of Door to Phantomile about how everything he remembered was a lie.

Emotionally, Klonoa is neither stoically untouchable, nor prone to sudden outbursts; he's quite even-tempered, though he will get angry if sore topics are pressed. It's extremely unlikely that he would go too far on such an emotional trip though, due to his levelheadedness and inherent good nature; he was even capable of showing empathy towards Joka, who had killed his grandfather, when Joka was attempting suicide. Klonoa cares deeply about freedom of thought and emotional expression, and many of the worlds he's saved suffered from repression of some sort (banning dreams, forgetting sadness, etc). Still, Klonoa tends towards the positive rather than dewlling on the negative, and has managed to pull himself up and continue on even when at his lowest point, with the help of his friends.

Klonoa often relies on his allies; his primary means of combat and movement (the Wind Ring) usually requires a willing magical partner to function, and finding himself in unfamiliar worlds means he needs people to give him a lot of information. Klonoa functions best when he's with friends, and though he's usually on the front lines, he has no problem playing support if it's the sensible option. Still, deep down, Klonoa is self-reliant and competent; even without his Wind Ring (and thus the majority of his capabilities), Klonoa will and has lept into action with whatever he had on him, in one case a snowboard. Although sometimes he has been a reluctant or modest hero (likely due to his traumatic experiences with Huepow before they reconciled, the fact that he has no choice in being the Dream traveler, and the fact that this all started when he was a kid), he genuinely enjoys adventure, and will step up when a hero is needed.

Most people that recognize him in the worlds he travels to consider him a mythical hero, but he mostly thinks of himself as a normal (if capable) person who loves adventure. He has been dream traveling for years, so he's quite used to it at this point, and not every time required him to save everyone. Myths aside, he HAS saved several worlds by this point, so there's probably something to the whole Dream Traveler thing. Still, as he has visited more and more worlds, Klonoa has steadily become more reliably heroic, and willing to pick up and go on the rules of new realities.

Klonoa is highly athletic, and his interests typically lie in physical activities like sports and exploration. Klonoa is of average intelligence; he's far from dumb, but he rarely relies on tactical planning when going into a situation, preferring to let more qualified thinkers do that job. Klonoa is primarily motivated by the desires of people around him. Being a transient stranger in almost every reality, he himself typically has little stake in the goings on of any particular world, and so helping people he likes, as well as helping the world itself, is his go-to. Still, he's not above making his own decisions if he thinks they're right, as when he reintroduced Sorrow into Lunatea for their own good, despite the world's implied protests.

Even if he's matured since his first adventures, he CAN still be a bit childish at times, which makes sense given his relatively young age. More so than that though, he's easily convinced of the goodness in people he considers his friends. He would not see betrayal coming; even when Huepow was caught in a serious lie, Klonoa simply shrugged it off because he considered his deception and manipulation to be unimportant in their overall friendship. In this regard, he can be a bit of a doormat. This is something he still needs to work on growing out of, and there are definitely times when he just wants to play with his friends.

Finally, Klonoa can be in his own head a bit, and is sometimes unobservant, leading to him missing information or social cues at times when he's thinking about his own things. He's got an unusual accent, so you might be pronouncing his name wrong. He won't mind, though.

Best age guesses: I am assuming some time has passed between each of these games due to snippets in the games and comic that hint at that being the case. All information about Klonoa's age is inferred; age-specific information never comes up in any of his appearances, except that he appears older in the second game compared to the first, and his age does not seem to significantly inform his character after the end of the second game.
Door to Phantomile - 9-12. Klonoa is pretty childish in this game, but he also manages to save the world, and deal with heavy emotional subject matter. In the remake, he looks more like 13-15.
Lunatea's Veil - 14-16. This is my best guess for his age based on the maturity he displays in the game, combined with my estimate of how long it would take to reach that point emotionally after going through the events of the previous game.
Empire of Dreams - 15-17. Klonoa appears and acts very similar to his appearance in Lunatea's Veil.
Dream Champ Tournament - 15-17. Direct sequel to Empire of Dreams, and takes place after Lunatea's Veil. Shows that time has passed since.
Klonoa Beach Volleyball - 15-17. Looks like Lunatea's Veil, not much characterization, poor translation makes it hard to tell.
Namco x Capcom - 15-22. Klonoa is highly capable in this game, but poor translation makes it very hard to get a narrow age estimate.
Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol - 16-20. This is the most modern and fully realized incarnation of Klonoa until the movie comes out, and he seems older and more experienced than in previous games. Canon point is just before this comic, as I am interested in portraying the most mature version of the character to date. Even if he's still pretty childish.

Wahoo!
Klonoa introduction comic taken from dream traveler of noctis sol

Klonoa's Skills:
Acrobatic! Can flap his giant ears to generate lift and remain airborne slightly longer.
Actually pretty good at snowboarding. Can wave his ears to go slightly faster.
Travels to other dimensions in his dreams without intending to, usually when they need his help.

Wind Ring Powers:
Inflate enemies temporarily with wind magic.
Form a wind sword or other weapons.
Multiple people can willingly enter the Wind Ring like hammerspace and hang out inside if they want, retaining awareness of the ring's surroundings. They can even bring their stuff, too, and store it in there!
The Wind Ring is usually powered by having someone magical inside of it, though this requirement can seemingly change depending on the world it's in. Becomes stronger if there's more than one power source.
Said to function only for those who are pure of heart.

OOC Info:
I'll try to work with whatever I'm given! I'm pretty new to all this, though I've been roleplaying for a long time. Go ahead and shoot me a private message if you think I'm doing something wrong with Klonoa's personality. I'm here to have fun; player is thanatophobic, so if at all possible please go easy on the death stuff!
